How to backup copy protected DVD

Most of the children's educational DVD's are copy protected on one means or another.
Most of the DVD's are handled by the children frequently and roughly. So they became unusable with in a short period.
They are very high quality and they have to be preserved (backuped) for future use,
DON'T USE THIS TECHNIQUE FOR PIRACY.
